Chemo Backpack Update from Trevor

On July 1, we are launching a ‘Sponsor a Backpack’ fundraising campaign, with the goal of funding 250 backpacks for men in our community.

With your help, we can make it happen!

For $100, you can sponsor a backpack that will be filled with comfort items and shipped to a cancer fighter undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other treatments. Don’t have $100 to donate? Any amount will help us reach our goal. Your gift is fully tax deductible. In our Chemo Care Backpacks, men receive a water bottle, Buoy Hydration Drops, fleece cap and blanket, lip balm, skin lotion, Dude Wipes, a Man Up to Cancer coin, a folder filled with helpful resources, and other items.

More than that – they receive the unconditional love, support, and solidarity of our global community of more than 3,000 men impacted by cancer. Each backpack is a lifeline, reminding men they’re not alone. Donors who give $100 or more will receive a Man Up to Cancer magnet and a personal thank you note from founder Trevor Maxwell, along with a shout-out on Man Up to Cancer’s Instagram page.

Thanks for all your support! I’ll leave you with a quote from one of our members that really captures the impact of the backpack program.

“I just received my backpack today and when I opened it I was flooded with emotion. I

never knew just opening a box could do that. Thank you for not reminding me I‘m not

alone.” – Allan T, melanoma patient from Connecticut
